Robert Walsh is an award-winning singer-songwriter, producer, guitarist, musical director, composer/arranger, author and educator. He has released five albums as a solo artist, four as part of a group (including Allez Ouest), and co-written four musicals, the latest of which, “Rubaboo” (with Andrea Menard), he performed in London ON, Vancouver and Edmonton in 2023-24, and won three Sterling Awards (including Oustanding Score and Musical Direction). He is the author of “Sculpting Air - A Whole Persons Approach to Songwriting”, and “Bob’s Book of Music Theory “ (La théorie musicale selon Bob), and taught Songwriting and other subjects in the music department at MacEwan University for thirteen years. He is currently working on several solo projects, an internet musical, and an EP with friend and collaborator Pierre Sabourin. He has been a guitarist-for-hire for many recording projects, pit musicals, operas, ballets, big bands and solo artists,  and was the principal guitarist with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra for two decades. Robert grew up in Montréal, where he got his BMUS from McGill, put ten years into Toronto, and settled in Edmonton in 1996. He performs regularly in English and French.

 Robert Walsh est un auteur-compositeur-interprète, réalisateur, guitariste, directeur musical, compositeur/arrangeur, auteur et éducateur. Il a lancé cinq albums en tant qu'artiste solo, quatre en tant que membre d'un groupe (dont Allez Ouest), et a coécrit quatre comédies musicales, dont la dernière, « Rubaboo » (avec Andrea Menard), a été jouée à London (Ontario), Vancouver et Edmonton en 2023-24, et a remporté trois prix Sterling (dont «Oustanding Score » et « Musical Direction »). Il a été guitariste engagé pour de nombreux projets d'enregistrement, des comédies musicales, des opéras, des ballets, des big bands et des artistes solistes, et a été le guitariste principal de l'Orchestre symphonique d'Edmonton pendant deux décennies. Robert a grandi à Montréal, où il a obtenu son BMUS de McGill, a passé dix ans à Toronto et s'est installé à Edmonton en 1996. Il se produit régulièrement en anglais et en français.
